This is my personal blog and you’ll find a little bit of very thing here. From development, operating systems, rants and raves as wel as personal things things going on. In the past I have done tech support on both sides, corp and consumer tech, as well as a developer and system administrator and for a time was a consultant.
I have used and supports Windows 95 upto and including Vista (ROFL), NT4 Servers, MS-Sql, Exchange, FreeBsd, NetBsd, OpenBsd, MySql, Postgresql, Berkley. I have also used for programming and scripting, Visual Basic, php, ruby, python, bash script, C# and C++. The last few year I was actively working, I used a lot of the open source server’s for dns, database, e-mail, ect.
I more or less learned things as I needed to learn them, it came relatively easy for me. So I didn’t have that old sheep skin that seems to be required now a days. Things just more or less made since to me I suppose.
Since I live in Northern Michigan, yoopers don’t ya know, ducttapeandcircuits seemed to fit nicely. Since duct tape is used as a general repair item for just about everything, even NASA uses it 
and yes I do remember at least in one point using duct tape to hold a busted computer together, and yes to answer the question it works.
